KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia moved up one spot to world No.132 in the latest Fifa rankings.
This came after Harimau Malaya beat Laos 3-1 and drew 1-1 with India in international friendlies recently.
Malaysia are now ranked
fourth in Southeast Asia, behind Thailand (97th), Vietnam (116th) and Indonesia (125th).
In Asia, Malaysia are ranked 24th, with Japan leading the continent at No. 15, followed by Iran (18th), South Korea (23rd), Australia (26th), and Qatar (48th) rounding up the top five.
