KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 134 Malaysia will play world No. 94 New Zealand in an international football friendly in Auckland on Oct 14.
FAM announced the fixture in a statement today.
It will be the first encounter between the two countries in 18 years. In their last two meetings, in 2006, Malaysia under coach Norizan Bakar, lost 1-0 in Christchurch and 2-1 in Auckland.
