Saudi Arabia to host World Rally Championship for the first time in 2025

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Sport has announced a landmark moment for the Kingdom as it will host the World Rally Championship (WRC) for the first time in history, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The event, branded as the 'Saudi Rally,' is set to run for a decade starting in 2025.

This event will be organised by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) and the Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC).

The ministry in collaboration with the WRC, will oversee the event, ensuring it meets international standards and showcases the Kingdom's growing influence in the world of motorsport. --BERNAMA
