Asian Games: Grace finishes out of the medals in hammer throw

KUALA LUMPUR: Hammer thrower Grace Wong was far from her best as she finished 10th in the Asian Games women's event at the Hangzhou Olympic Stadium today.

Despite her one month stint in Chengdu before the Games, she managed a poor throw of 57.46m.

Grace's effort was more than five metres short of her national record (62.48).

China's Wang Zheng won gold with 71.35, while compatriot Zhao Jie (69.44) won silver.

South Korea's Kim Taehui bagged the bronze with a distance of 64.14.
