The Asian juggernauts have now amassed 139 gold, 73 silver and 39 bronze.
Despite being tied on gold with South Korea, Japan are second overall with 30 gold, 43 silver and 43 bronze.
South Korea are third on 30 gold, 38 silver and 60 bronze, losing out to Japan in the silver medal department.
India (13-21-21) and Taiwan (12-10-14) round out the top-five.
Malaysia are currently 14th overall with a 3-4-13 haul to date.
