SRG team work late nights to master 'MLBB patch'

KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor Red Giants' (SRG) coaching staff have been working around the clock to devise the best strategies for the new Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) patch ahead of the Season 14 playoffs on Friday.

SRG head coach Michael Angelo "Arcadia" Bocado said this is very important as they are a team that play well after mastering the new patch.

"That is why we have worked really hard to figure out this new meta, as there are so many ways you can approach it.

"We need to learn how this new patch works with our strengths and weaknesses. But I'm glad to say that our progress is at 90 per cent," the Filipino coach told Timesport when met at the MLBB Creator Awards on Sunday.

SRG ended the regular season top of the table with only one defeat in nine matches. This secured them an upper bracket spot. They will play the winners of the play-in match between Todak and Monster Vicious tomorrow.

SRG will start their playoffs campaign on Friday, aiming to advance to the Grand Finals as one of the two representatives for Malaysia at the M6 World Championships at Axiata Arena next month.

The Season 14 playoffs will start tomorrow at the EduCity Indoor Arena in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
