'SRG, Vamos need composure, teamwork to survive in M6'

KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor Red Giants (SRG) and Team Vamos face a critical juncture in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M6 World Championship tomorrow, as another defeat will spell the end of their campaign.

Both teams suffered defeats in their first knockout matches, with SRG losing to Fnatic Onic Philippines and Vamos falling to Indonesia's RRQ Hoshi.

Now in the lower bracket with just one life remaining, SRG will clash with Singapore's NIP Flash, while Vamos will face Russia's Team Spirit on Dec 10.

A loss for either team will see them crash out of this year's World Championship.

MLBB caster and analyst Siti Nurizati "ReezPiuPiu" Jefree believes one of the two teams still has a chance to reach the Grand Finals at Axiata Arena on Dec 15.

"Vamos can beat Spirit because they have a bigger hero pool and more varied playstyles than European teams," said the 23-year-old.

"However, Vamos tend to overextend when they are in a winning position. They need more composure and better teamwork to close out games."

Siti Nurizati noted that SRG boast some of the best players in the world in terms of mechanical skills but questioned their decision-making throughout the tournament.

"SRG need to be wary of NIP Flash, as they are capable of putting up a strong fight," she said.

"While SRG's courage to take risks is commendable, their team fights need more organisation, and their synergy and decision-making must improve if they are to succeed."

Both SRG and Vamos will be looking to stay alive and keep their championship dreams intact in tomorrow's must-win matches.
