PUTRAJAYA: ULFHEDNAR (ULF) are confident of finishing top of Group A in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M6 World Championships wildcard stage after downing Laos' Niightmare Esports 2-0 at the IOI Grand Exhibition and Convention Centre in Putrajaya on Friday.
ULF coach Vladimir "Ospreay" Gonchar was quite pleased with his team's performance despite a technical issue disrupting their gameplay.
"We had to wait for the technical issue to get sorted out, and it affected the gameplay of our second game.
"It was not as perfect as our first game, but overall we are satisfied with the result. But this is not the final form of our team," said the 29-year-old Russian.
The Turkish team are currently tied at the top of the standings with China's DianFengYaoGuai (DFYG).
Both teams have two wins and two points each. However, DFYG dropped a game to Niightmare yesterday.
They will square off today to determine the winners of Group A.
Gonchar is confident his team will come out on top against the Chinese team. "They lost one game to Niigthmare and you saw what we did to them today right?
"We are very confident of (winning) the game tomorrow," he added.
