KUALA LUMPUR: Vamos "unplugged" from their MLBB M6 World Championships preparations with a team building session at Kenyir Lake.
Vamos coach Khairul Azman "Pabz" Mohd Sharif said the team spent three days and two nights at the lake.
"After our ESL Pro Series Season 6, we let our four import players return to their home countries.
"The team in Malaysia headed to Kenyir Lake where a facilitator handled our team building programmes.
"I felt that the retreat has helped our players to relax, we were so far away from the city without any distractions.
"We couldn't even get network service on our phones, so we were able to fully disconnect," said Khairul today.
Vamos will begin their campaign tomorrow against Saudi Arabia's Twisted Minds at the IOI Grand Exhibition and Convention Centre in Putrajaya.
However, many local MLBB fans seem to have forgotten that Vamos are Malaysia's second representatives at the M6 World Championships, as many are focused on supporting Selangor Red Giants.
"We will give 100% to achieve victory and let's see if people will take notice of us after that," said Khairul.
"Twisted Minds are a strong team, we need to respect them and also the other teams as everyone is the best in their respective regions."
