KUALA LUMPUR: Fnatic Onic Philippines (FNOP) continued their impressive run in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M6 World Championships by defeating Myanmar's Falcon eSports 3-2 in the upper-bracket semi-finals today.
The epic five-game series at the IOI Grand Exhibition and Convention Centre in Putrajaya saw FNOP dominate the first two games before Falcon staged a comeback to tie the series at 2-2.
In the deciding game, FNOP fought for 19 minutes to win the match and qualify for the upper-bracket final at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil on Dec 14.
Falcon, meanwhile, drop to the lower-bracket quarter-finals, where they will face Team Vamos or Russia's Team Spirit.
FNOP have been in formidable form throughout the tournament, dropping only three games so far.
Despite their dominant displays, FNOP coach Anthony "Ynot" Senedrin remains focused and grounded.
"We're not in a position to think that we are already champions. We can't relax just yet. The job's not done," said Senedrin in a post-match interview today.
"We are not unstoppable or bulletproof. What we do believe is that if we work together and trust each other, we can do wonderful things together as a team."
