PORT DICKSON: A 45-year-old retired soldier today completed a 500-kilometre solo-kayak expedition from Dataran Arena Square Kuala Kangsar to Port Dickson in 14 days.
Murad Mohd Kassim's arrival at Pengkalan Nelayan Batu 4 here at 9.30am was greeted by Warrant Officer 1 (Education), Mohd Amran Mansor.
Murad said, the expedition was among his best experiences despite the weather challenges.
"Huge wave were among the challenges I faced this time, which often saw my kayak flipped upside down. But I am grateful I managed to complete this mission," he said.
Murad thanked all parties who helped to make his mission a success.
