OSK Holdings outlines top level personnel changes

KUALA LUMPUR: OSK Holdings Bhd has announced changes to its top management line-up, who will lead the company through its next phase of growth.

In a statement, it said Datuk Nik Mohamed Din Nik Yusoff has announced his retirement after over 33 years with the OSK Group with his last held position as non-independent non-executive chairman, a position he has held since 2009.

Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat @ Wong Joo Hwa has been announced as executive chairman, while the other appointments are Ong Ju Yan as group managing director, and Ong Ju Xing as deputy group managing director.

“On behalf of the Board, management and staff of OSK, we thank Datuk Nik for his tremendous contribution to the Group and wish him every success in the future,” incoming executive chairman Ong said in the statement.

Nik Mohamed Din’s wide-ranging career included legal practice, stockbroking business and he was appointed as the first executive chairman of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd) in 1988.
