PETALING JAYA: Al-Ikhsan Sports has recently signed on Professional Football Association Malaysia (PFAM) as a co-branding partner in sale of sports apparel.
“We envision this collaboration to bring the name of Al-Ikhsan to a higher level, especially among the football fans in Malaysia. This is also one of our initiatives to expand our market reach across the nation," said Al-Ikhsan Sdn Bhd senior marketing manager Ellisya Abdullah.
Al-Ikhsan, which is 25 per cent owned by Ekuiti Nasional Bhd, holds a market leading position in the multi-brand sports retail industry, encompassing sports equipment, apparel and footwear, with over 100 outlets across Peninsular Malaysia.
Al-Ikhsan's service charter to its customers is “100 per cent original guaranteed - we pay double of the purchase price, if our goods are imitation.”
Established in 1993 by Ali Hassan Mohd Hassan, Al-Ikhsan today has long-standing relationships with Adidas, Nike and Puma and holds exclusive distributorships for Lotto, Canterbury, Asics and AL Sports.
Also present at Al-Ikhsan’s newly opened outlet in Melawati Mall were PFAM president Hairuddin Omar, PFAM chief executive officer Izham Ismail and Al-Ikhsan deputy general manager of business processes Norita Md Noor.
Established in 2009, and affiliated with the worldwide professional football organisation FIFPro since 2013, PFAM is platform that provides Malaysian professional footballers support and advice for their career development.
