RHB Bank officiates 210th branch in Kota Tinggi

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Bank Bhd, Malaysia’s fourth largest fully integrated financial services group, has opened its 21st branch in the southern region and 210th nationwide in Bandar Penawar.

With the opening of the new branch at Jalan Kempas 1, Taman Desaru Utama, RHB is the sole provider of commercial banking services in te rapidly growing suburb in the eastern region of Johor.

RHB Islamic Bank managing director Datuk Adissadikin Ali said the Bandar Penawar branch marks another milestone for the RHB Banking Group as it strengthens its footprint in the local market.

“Our presence in this township is part of our strategy to enhance our network in the eastern region of the state of Johor. Through Bandar Penawar Branch, we will be able to bring our services and products closer to Johor’s key growth areas and serve customers better,” he said at the officiating ceremony here in Kota Tinggi yesterday.

The branch, which started operations on January 1, is spearheaded by Mohd Ali Basha and his team of seven personnel.

The branch is equipped with self-service terminals to facilitate banking transactions such as deposits and cash withdrawals.

Additionally, the branch will also offer a wide range of products and services such as savings and investment accounts, home financing, auto loans, financial supply chain offerings and small and medium enterprise loans.
