KUALA LUMPUR: Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX), through subsidiary DNEX Drilling Tech and Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a Pan Malaysia umbrella contract by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.
DNeX said the contract involved providing equipment and services for directional drilling, measurement while drilling and logging while drilling.
“It is valid for a duration of five years commencing from January 16 this year until January 15, 2025.
“The contract price will depend on the work orders issued by Petronas Carigali throughout the contract duration,” DNex said in a statement today.
DNeX executive deputy chairman Datuk Samsul Husin said the contract was a testament to the group’s efforts and expertise in providing services in the segment.
“The contract will enable us to create value and recognise further growth in the energy division,” Samsul added.
