eCurve to redevelop, outlets remain open until end of March

KUALA LUMPUR: Damansara Entertainment Centre Sdn Bhd (DEC), the operator of eCurve and subsidiary of Boustead Properties Bhd (BPB), has planned to redevelop the mall as part of the group wide's aspiration of Reinventing Boustead.

BPB said the onset of the pandemic has presented an opportunity to put into motion the plan for eCurve to return stronger with a brand-new landmark in Mutiara Damansara.

"The move is timely as eCurve adapts to how societies, lifestyles and technologies around us are changing.

"Through the urban rejuvenation, we envision an enhanced generational livability surrounding Mutiara Damansara, with a thriving communities and ecosystem stemming from the unleashed offerings under the redevelopment," BPB said in a statement today.

BPB said the redevelopment plan would not involve The Curve, its main shopping centre, which will continue to operate as usual and remain as a destination of choice for shoppers and foodies alike.

"We have taken proactive steps in engaging current tenants and relocating selected tenants to the Curve to bring the same joy and experience that are synonymous to the brand," said BPB.

However, outlets at eCurve will remain open until the end of March 2021.

The leisure and entertainment mall has 14 eventful years as it has been the go-to-spot with a variety of choices for those seeking leisure activities, entertainment and retail therapy.

From cineplex and bowling alleys to hosting e-game competitions, movie premiers with local celebrities, and martial arts challenges, eCurve has been the place where families and friends have gathered, connected and made memories since 2006.
