KUALA LUMPUR: AmInvest has declared a net income distribution totalling approximately RM83.4 million for 27 unit trusts, wholesale funds and exchange-traded funds (ETF) for the period of April-June 2022.
In a statement today, it said the funds encompassed conventional and Shariah-compliant funds across various asset classes.
"Our investment philosophy and strategies have proven to deliver long-term returns for investors," said AmFunds Management Bhd chief executive officer Goh Wee Peng in a statement today.
Among other things, AmInvest said the payout for AmDividend Income, US-Canada Income and Growth and AmIncome Plus had translated to income distribution yields of 14.3 per cent, 6.8 per cent and 5.6 per cent, respectively.
Additionally, it said the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Exchange Traded Funds (ETF), Malaysia's first equity ETF, has declared an income distribution yield of 3.6 per cent for the year, following an interim income distribution of 3.0 sen for June 2022.
AmInvest is the brand name for the funds management business of AmFunds Management Bhd and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd.
