KUALA LUMPUR: Chain supermarket operator TFP Retail Sdn Bhd (TRSB) officially opened the twenty-fifth premium supermarket Village Grocer outlet in Gamuda Walk in Kota Kemuning.
Further, Village Grocer aims to continue expanding its footprint in Klang Valley by providing its customers with a wide range of groceries in a diverse neighbourhood.
TRSB group executive director Ivan Tan said since the formation of the company more than 26 years ago, there are some important aspects of its business that have never changed at all.
"High quality, freshness and wide varieties have always been the hallmarks of our grocery concept and strength contributing to the success of our Village Grocer Brand," he said in a statement.
This new store has been planned to enhance the shopping experience by providing convenient grocery shopping with a selection of the freshest produce, high-quality meats, seafood, and an extensive array of local and international grocery products.
With a deep understanding of the community needs and with over seventeen thousand square foot outlet, the produce section offers wide selections of organic vegetables and local vegetables arriving daily from Cameron Highland, making daily fresh marketing a breeze for its customers.
Village Grocer is also known for flying in fresh fruits and vegetables, mainly from Australia, the USA, Japan, Korea, and New Zealand, to maintain their freshness.
The protein section offers an extensive range of premium quality Australian beef and New Zealand lamb cuts, including wagyu burger patties and marinated ready-to-cook meat.
The seafood section offers varieties of fresh local fish and air-flown Norwegian salmon.
"While we cater to daily needs, we definitely love to do shopping on behalf of our customers by bringing in the world of refined delicacy from around the world," TRSB chief executive officer Kok Kian Kee said.

Village Grocer hosts over 2400 products for the health dietary needs category namely organic, superfoods, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian, including frozen vegan and vegetarian products.
There are also various imported snacks and confectionaries from New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Belgium, Japan and Korea.
Exclusive collaboration between Woolworths and Village Grocer offers a wide range of over 200 Woolworths products.
Woolworths products are made to Australian standards with many high-quality products free from artificial colouring, flavours and preservatives.
