KUALA LUMPUR: Batik Air will strengthen its connectivity to the Middle East by commencing direct flight to Dubai on November 10, 2023.
The new route is a testament to the airline's commitment for global network expansion to provide access to the Middle East.
This is following the company's recent route launch to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia last month and the route to Dubai marked its second destination to the Middle East. Batik Air and Lion Group group strategy director Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said that the direct flight to Dubai is a significant achievement for Batik Air, as it not only expands the airline footprint from the Asean and Asia-Pacific markets to the Middle East.
"We are thrilled to offer our passengers a seamless and enjoyable travel experience while opening doors to new opportunities," he added.
Chandran said the flight is operated using the brand-new Boeing 737-8 aircraft, boasting 12 Business Class and 150 Economy Class seats.
