KUALA LUMPUR: Itmax System Bhd's 65 per cent unit Southmax Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM77.1 million job from Kulai city council authority to turn it into a smart city.
The job is to provide provide video surveillance and traffic light system services, a smart command centre, a closed circuit camera system with artificial intelligence features and traffic light system on a monthly subscription for 15 years.
The job will run from Mar 26, 2024 to Mar 25, 2039.
Itmax System secured long-tenure 15-year CCTV jobs from three of the four designated Greater Johor Bahru (GJB) town councils in 3Q23.
Itmax's current unbilled orderbook stands at RM870 million.
Itmax's share price was up 2.6 per cent to RM2.35 a share at midday.
