Cape EMS GCEO sold 112.7m shares on Aug 6, cutting stake to 27pct

KUALA LUMPUR: Cape EMS Bhd's managing director and group chief executive officer Tee Kim Chin sold 112.74 million shares in the company on Aug 6, 2024, cutting her stake in the company to 27.02 per cent.

The company's filings with Bursa Malaysia Securities showed that Tee disposed of the shares on August 6, bringing her shareholding to 268.04 million or 27.02 per cent.

She offloaded the shares for a total of RM53.55 million on Tuesday, which translates to an average selling price of 47.5 sen per share.

Tee has been on a selling spree since July 30, 2024, when she sold 1.895 million shares in the company for 67.5 sen a piece.

As at 3.43pm, the company's share price rose 3.7 per cent or 1.5 sen to 42 sen. The stock, which opened at 40 sen, reached an intraday high of 48 sen and a low of 34.5 sen during today's trading session.

It was the most actively traded stock with more than 678 million shares traded.
