MK Land's treasure hunt to foster stronger ties with media, other key stakeholders

KUALA LUMPUR: MK Land Holdings Bhd kicked off 'MK Land Hunt 2024", a treasure hunt aimed at fostering stronger relationships between media practitioners and its key stakeholders.

Group head of corporate communications Shahreen Rahim said the hunt was a testament to MK Land's commitment to strengthening relationships with its key stakeholders, particularly the media and local authorities.

"As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are proud to bring everyone together to enjoy a weekend of camaraderie and excitement," Shahreen said.

The two-day hunt, which spanned the scenic route from Petaling Jaya to Ipoh, saw the participation of about 70 participants from various main media outlets as well as representatives from local authorities.

The event kicked off with a flag-off ceremony at MK Land's Rafflesia Sales Gallery in Damansara Perdana.

Participants embarked on a journey that took them across MK Land's key development sites including Damansara Damai, Taman Bunga Raya in Bukit Beruntung, Meru Perdana in Ipoh, and Lembah Beriah in Kerian.

The final checkpoint brought them to the serene Bukit Merah Laketown Resort.

The highlight of the event was the "Malam Pesta Muda Mudi" themed gala dinner hosted by MK Land executive chairman Tan Sri Felina Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal.

The gala dinner also served as the platform to announce the winners of the MK Land Hunt 2024.

The team from Bernama, named "The Gold Fingers," took home the first prize of RM3,000. The second place, with a prize of RM2,000, was secured by "Reserved Hunters" from The Malaysian Reserve, while the Media Prima (Omnia) team claimed the third spot with RM1,000.
