KUALA LUMPUR: KLCC Property Holdings Bhd (KLCCP) and KLCC Reit Management Sdn Bhd (KLCC Reit) have appointed Datuk Sr Mohd Salem Kailany as their chief executive officer (CEO) effective Nov 1, succeeding Datuk Md. Shah Mahmood.
Salem, a surveyor with over 30 years of experience, was president and CEO of UDA Holdings Bhd.
Before that, he served as CEO of PNB Development from 2016 to 2019, achieving strong financial results in sales and enhancing the township profile of Kota Seriemas in Nilai, among others.
The companies said his extensive background in property, strategy and business development enabled him to lead and manage multiple township projects, including Denai Alam, Bandar Ainsdale, Bandar Universiti Pagoh, and Serenia City in Sepang.
"He is a highly regarded figure in the Malaysian property sector, with an extensive track record spanning across real estate valuation, project advisory, property development, project management, strategy and merger and acquisitions.
"The board of directors and the management of KLCCP wish Datuk Md. Shah Mahmood all the best in his future undertakings," they said.
