"We are pleased to announce that the new recommended retail price is RM50,000 for the E 300 BlueTEC hybrid battery and RM65,000 for the S400h hybrid battery," said a statement.
The statement added that the company had introduced a Hybrid Battery Extended warranty programme which allowed customers to extend the battery warranty of both models for an additional four years at "an extremely affordable price of RM2,688".
"The Hybrid Battery Extended Warranty provides 100% coverage for the repair or replacement of the hybrid battery for up to 8 years or 180,000 kilometers whichever comes first," the statement read.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia introduced the CKD locally-assembled Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC Hybrid in 2015, and sold it at RM348,888.
