KUALA LUMPUR: Now everyone can cook. Thermomix Malaysia has unveiled a new multifunctional 20-in-1 smart kitchen appliance called Thermomix TM6.
It comes with an array of functions, offering a completely new experience to people aspiring to explore the world of culinary.
Its direct on-device screen gives access to thousands of recipes.
The Thermomix TM6 features an integrated Cookidoo platform, which allows users to explore, inspire, search, cook, plan directly on its screen, without the need to use additional devices.
“Cooking is no longer exclusively the realm of talented chefs; we have liberalised it by making cooking a lot simpler and intuitive so that everyone can cook. Cooking has become a lot more diverse and varied. This new passion for cooking has gripped everyone.
“Thermomix is the most advanced kitchen appliance there is out there. The TM6 is special because now we have incorporated a lot of new things such as Wi-Fi capability, where you can access over 50,000 recipes through its guided library.
“This new model also has a 6.8-inch colour touchscreen and various cooking modes added in the machine. These modes all pre-programmed in the Thermomix. It’s a sous vide machine, ice-cream maker, it cooks your rice, ferments your food for you and can also do slow cooking up to eight hours into perfection,” said Thermomix Malaysia's executive director, JC Lim.
For example, meat-lovers can discover how 160 degree Celsius in the High Temperature cooking mode creates an additional taste dimension with caramelising browning and an incredible aroma while cooking.
There is also a built-in Scale function with an accuracy of 1 gram and up to 3,000 grams per weighing step. It even weighs negative values for removing a precise amount of ingredients from the bowl.
Other classic functions include mixing, steaming, blending, grinding, whisking, emulsifying, simmering, kneading, and chopping.
Lim added, “When it comes to benefit, you have many appliances in one, instead of having to buy many things. If you are someone who knows how to cook, you will value the Thermomix because it cooks for you, even washes for you. If you are someone who doesn’t know how to cook, your answer is Thermomix because it guides you from ingredient preparations all the way to the finished product.”
The Thermomix TM6 costs RM7,188 and is available directly from Thermomix Malaysia at an initial pre-order price of RM6,888.
