#TECH: Lenovo unveils more products to fit hybrid lifestyle

KUALA LUMPUR: Multinational Technology company, Lenovo also announced a new range of desktop PCs and monitors. The range includes Lenovo Legion T32p-30 Gaming Monitor, ThinkVision T32p-30, T34w-30, T24i-30, T32h-30, and S25e-30 commercial monitors, and Lenovo's ThinkCentre M60q Chromebox Enterprise.

Lenovo's SVP for Intelligent Devices Group Johnson Jia, in a statement, said the company is constantly innovating its portfolio to bring new factors, features, and capabilities to its customers.

"As more people start to embrace hybrid work, we want to present technology solutions that don't just match their transformed lifestyle, but tech that can reveal and solve for the unrealised challenges it may present, like the desktop computer and monitors that we've introduced today," he said.

MONITOR

The new Lenovo Legion Y32P-30 gaming monitor sports a 31.5-inch UHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time. Its 4K visuals also have Eyesafe Certified 2.0 blue light protection and an auto-ambient brightness sensor that adjusts the screen.

For multitaskers, it has an HDMI hookup, USB-C docking solution, and the KVM switch, Picture in Picture (PIP) and Picture by Picture (PBP) functions too.

With Lenovo Artery, users can customise display settings while Lenovo Legion Arena consolidates all user's games across platforms into a central library.

Lenovo also unveiled new monitors in the ThinkVision S- and T-series – the ThinkVision T32p-30, T34w-30, S25e-30, T24i-30, and T32h-30 monitors.

The ThinkVision T32p-30 has a 31.5-inch 4K UHD resolution display with In-Plane Switching (IPS), delivering 99 per cent sRGB colour gamut, high contrast ratio, and 350 nits of brightness. Furthermore, its three-sided design switches documents easily and has a multi-screen setup.

The ThinkVision T34w-30 on the other hand, has a 34-inch WQHD curved display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and 1500 curvature.

Both monitors offer a USB-C cable solution, HDMI, DP, Ethernet, and USB Type-A port for the ThinkVision VoIP Modular Stack.

To meet the needs of a small to mid-sized business (SMB) users, the ThinkVision S25e-30 monitor, which entails a 24.5-inch FHD display with a 1920x1080 resolution, 99 per cent sRGB colour gamut, and 75Hz refresh rate is perfect, especially for fluid browsing.

It quickly connects to external devices thanks to VGA, HDMI 1.4, and 3.5 mm audio out ports.

Meanwhile, the ThinkVision T24i-30 has a 23.8-inch FHD display with IPS and has ports like VGA, HDMI, and DP as well as a four-port USB hub while the ThinkVision T32h-30 sports a 31.5-inch QHD display with an RJ45 ethernet port, and a USB-C monitor docking solution.

Aside from the bezel, back cover, stand, and base cover, which was made with 85 per cent post-consumer recycled content (PCC) ABS, these monitors also sport low blue light technology, an accessible joystick navigation button, and an easy tilt stand for an ideal viewing angle.

Both the ThinkVision T-series monitors and Lenovo Legion Y32p-30 have stands that swivel, pivot, and lift up and down too.

CHROMEBOX ENTERPRISE

ThinkCentre M60q Chromebox Enterprise is powered by the 12th Generation Intel Core i5 processors, a secure ChromeOS operating system, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) integration, and multi-screen that supports up to four monitors.

Users can get speedy Wi-Fi 6E10 connectivity and can easily deploy, secure, and manage cloud workspace anywhere.

Thanks to Lenovo ThinkShield and the Google-designed Titan C security chip, users can enhance security and reduce downtime by adding Lenovo Premier Support.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

All of the products can be purchased as a part of the Lenovo TruScale Device as a Service (Daas) solution.

The price for Lenovo Legion Y32p-30 Gaming Monitor will start from €999 (approx. RM4,157).

The ThinkVision T24i-30 monitor will be available in selected markets at the end of the year with a price starting from €249. Also expected to be in the market in December, the ThinkCentre M60q Chromebox Enterprise will be selling from €299.

The prices for other ThinkVision monitors are as follows: T32p-30 (€669), T34w-30 (€699), S25e-30 (€169), and T32h-30 (€549). All of the monitors are expected to be available from January 2023.
