Aveda releases shampoo for thinning hair

This pandemic has completely changed our life and as we deal with uncertainties, it can result in stress. We all know what stress does to our bodies; it leads to various health issues, one of it being hair loss.

But hair loss itself can cause more stress, so although it's easier said than done, let's try to avoid going through that vicious cycle.

During pre-pandemic days, going to the salon for hair treatments would be a breeze but for now it's best to get to the root of the problem at the comfort of your own home.

Companies like Aveda offers its popular Invati Advanced line which is a collection of hair care products that help promote thicker and fuller hair.

The company recently introduced two new products to the Invati Advanced family, an intensive hair and scalp masque and a lighter version of its exfoliating shampoo.

The hair and scalp masque should be used like a deep conditioner, as users should apply the product and leave it on for a few minutes after shampooing.

"It's vegan, silicone-free, 98 per cent naturally derived and is formulated with a plant-based reparative molecule that helps strengthen and reinforce fragile, thinning hair by 46 per cent, helping you keep the hair you have, longer,"says Aveda in its press release.

This product is suitable for those experiencing hair loss and thinning with medium-to-thick hair and normal-to-dry hair and scalp.

Meanwhile, the exfoliating shampoo is formulated for fine hair types with normal to oily scalp that experience hair loss or thinning.

The formula in this shampoo which features a wintergreen-derived salicylic acid helps to remove build-up that clog pores.

This new product is an addition to Aveda's existing Invati Advanced Exfoliating Shampoo but that formula works better for those with medium to thick hair with normal to dry scalp.

Besides these products, customers can find other existing products such as the Invati Advanced Thickening Conditioner and the Scalp Revitaliser.

Living up to its environmental standards, the products are packaged in recycled tubes and caps.

The Invati Advanced Intensive Hair and Scalp Masque retails at RM190 for 150ml while the Invati Advanced Exfoliating Shampoo – Light cost RM155 for 200ml.

The products are available at Aveda Experience Centres, Aveda salons and online on Zalora and Lazada.
