FANS of newcomer Nur Sarah Marie Hildebrand Asyraf may have seen her on television as a host, actress and model, but the 27-year-old is ready to show fans a hidden talent — singing.
The artiste of American-German-Malay descent revealed that she was recording a soundtrack for a telemovie, which she would be starring.
Filming is set to begin after Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
However, when asked for details of the song and telemovie, the HyppTV Studio host said she could not reveal much.
“Everything is still in discussion, so I’m hoping that things will pan out according to plan. If the song receives good feedback, it might be pushed as my debut single,” she said.
Sarah recalled that she had always loved singing since young, but never really considered pursuing it professionally, until now.
“In primary school, my teachers would always encourage me to sing, but I never took it seriously. Since it’s my first time doing this, I feel a little nervous. I’m scared of what my fans may think when they hear me sing, but let’s just pray it will turn out fine,” smiled the Dia Imamku actress.
“The melody of the song is akin to a lullaby,” she said when met at the launch of HyppTV’s Ramadan-Raya campaign at KL Tower in Kuala Lumpur recently.
Sarah has been a host of HyppTV Studio since last year, and is among the five celebrities who will lead HyppTV’s campaign themed #tambahlagi.
The rest are Putra Amaris, Mona Allen, Syazlian Awang and actor Saharul Ridzwan.
HyppTV aims to bring more excitement through its exciting entertainment programmes ranging from its original drama series and telemovies to blockbuster films, available on HyppSensasi HD, HyppInspirasi HD and Salam HD.
