PUCHONG: Indonesian acts Afgansyah Reza, better known as Afgan and pop-rock band Ungu are set to rock the stage at Stadium Malawati this Oct 6 at 8.30pm for a concert called Konsert Terunggul Afgan & Ungu.
While both acts have performed in Kuala Lumpur many times on separate occasions, this concert marks their first collaboration in Malaysia.
"Malaysia is like my second home so it's always exciting to be back here and perform for my Malaysian fans.
"It's also an honour to be performing with Ungu who undoubtedly has a huge fan base here. Fans can expect a lot of surprises throughout the concert," said Afgan when met at a press conference for Konsert Terunggul at CO3 Social Office, here.
"This year marks our 20th year in the music industry so this concert is a special gift for our Malaysian fans who have supported us from day one," said Makki, bassist for Ungu.
It is understood that Afgan and Ungu will each perform about 10 to 12 of their greatest hits throughout the two hour show.
Konsert Terunggul Afgan & Ungu is organised by Popcorn Studio.
