KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesian songstress Datuk Rossa stirred up the rumour mill when she was photographed with fellow singer Afgan at an event recently.
Their close friendship had become public knowledge but what had caught the Netizens’ attention was the diamond ring she had on.
Gossip of the single mother-of-one having gotten engaged to a man 11 years her junior spread far and wide.
"I did no such thing! The ring is actually the one I often wear," said the 38-year-old to Indonesian portal Tribunnews recently.
The Pudar singer added that she didn't intend to wear the ring just so that the public would kickstart a conversation on her “relationship” with Afgan.
"That's just people's imagination,” she said.
Both stars however have yet to disclose if there is in fact romance between them.
