KUALA LUMPUR: TV host, actress and entrepreneur Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor last night took to Twitter to issue a statement following the uproar over her promoting a beauty supplement which can be consumed by infants.
She tweeted: “I am aware of the CnG situation related to my IGS & I appreciate & understand the comments & concerns from you guys. The CnG management is working hard to rectify the issue & determined to resolve this confusion. I appreciate your patience and understanding.”
The 28-year-old artiste came under fire after she uploaded an Instagram Story to promote the said beauty supplement, which was also claimed good for infants with eczema.
As babies do not need supplement in the first place, Netizens and some medical practitioners were appalled by it, criticising her for promoting “supplements for babies” which can be harmful.
In response to Neelofa’s tweet, her fans and followers applauded her for making a stand and with some even commented that to err is human.
