KUALA LUMPUR: After the elimination of 10 contestants from the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, the US, Australia and Vietnam, two designers remain to claim the winning crown of The Apartment: Passion For Design.
In the upcoming finale for the sixth season of the popular reality TV competition, Malaysian make-up artist Rachel Lee, declared by principal judge Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to be one of the strongest designers in The Apartment’s history, will go head-to-head with Philippines-based fashion designer Stephanie Dods in an intense challenge.
“I can’t believe I made it to the final of The Apartment: Passion For Design,” said Lee.
She added: “It has been an incredible and unexpected journey and I am thankful for all the support I’ve received from my fellow Malaysians. I will continue to do my best to make you guys proud.”
The winner of The Apartment: Passion For Design will walk away with the biggest prize in the series’ history, the deed to a luxurious UMLand apartment at D’Lagoon in Johor Baru.
Aside from Llewelyn-Bowen, The Apartment: Passion For Design also features a string of celebrity designers for the panel of judges, including Filipina interior designer and influencer extraordinaire Cat Arambulo and Tyler Wisler, one of New York’s most influential and dynamic designers.
The show’s finale episode, with award-winning designer and author Jamie Durie as host and mentor, airs on May 24 at 9pm on the Sony Channel (unifi TV Channel 614).
Presented by Dulux and supported by UMLand, The Apartment: Passion For Design is a Sony Channel Original Series created and produced by Imagine Group Entertainment.
