KUALA LUMPUR: Rumour has it that actress-TV host Elfira Loy got engaged yesterday.
According to a news report, it was a private ceremony attended by family members and close friends, held at her family home in Alam Damai here.
Apparently, the 24-year-old artiste is engaged to an individual named Faris Khairol Anuar.
Quoting an unnamed source close to Elfira, the news report stated that the newly-engaged couple had only known each other for a few months, during Ramadan.
“Faris, 27, works for his father who is a businessman with a conferred title of Datuk,” said the source.
Earlier this year, Elfira’s engagement to singer Sufian Suhaimi was called off just days before their supposed wedding date. They were engaged in October last year.
Meanwhile, in another news report, Sufian said that he did not know about the engagement, but wished the couple the best.
