KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Daiyan Trisha did not only graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration recently, but also placed on the academic honour roll of the Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur.
And she achieved all this success despite having skipped a month of lectures due to acting commitment.
The 24-year-old artiste said she had to take six to seven subjects, more than her other peers, and sacrificed her nights and beauty sleep to ensure that she finished her degree earlier than the rest, and be on the Dean’s List in every semester.
Taking to Instagram to share her achievements, she said she had to skip lectures for a month (with permission) since she had to be on the set of Busker.
But she made sure she finished her assignments and studied hard for her exams after filming which would usually be at night.
For Daiyan, the road to success needs one’s full commitment and perseverance.
“I almost gave up many times. But I still wanted to score in all my subjects.
“Even when I arrived late for a lecture, I would still go up to the front of the class and find a vacant seat, so that my focus would entirely be on the subject.
“I guess as long as you’re adamant and committed to reaching your goals, there’s really nothing you can’t do,” she added.
