KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Stadium Corporation is in the midst of finalising the deal to bring top K-Pop group BTS onto our shores for a concert.
So said Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman in an interview with Astro Awani yesterday.
“InsyaAllah, next year we will seal the deal. The MSC is trying it’s best to bring them over,” he said.
Naturally, the juicy update sent local Army fans (BTS’ fandom) into a frenzy, with many of them reacting on Twitter with excitement.
A Twitter user wrote: “OMG, this is getting real.... Do you know how much this means to me!!! Like they helped me go through so much in life, I’m not even kidding! They inspire me to do the best everyday.
“If they really come, I will go, I will pay to see them, no matter how much!”
Another tweeted: “This is what I need, I live for music. And as a bts fan (ARMY) , I want to meet them! @SyedSaddiq”
Recently, AirAsia Group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes took to Instagram hinting of a possible BTS concert here next year.
