KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Datin Diana Danielle jumped on the bandwagon of fellow celebrities who have poured in words of advice for Haneesya Hanee who had her Dewi Remaja title revoked, after a video of her alleged “wild partying” went viral.
Taking to Instagram, she recently posted an entry dedicated to Haneesya, which also saw her sharing a personal dark episode, one quite similar to Haneesya’s.
Diana wrote that at the age of 14, photos of her “having a good time at a pool party” surfaced.
Details of the photos were not described in detail but Diana explained that it was harmless as it was taken at her bestfriend’s house with a group of high school friends.
When the photos leaked, she had to deal with society having a different perception of her.
“All of a sudden everyone had a diff (different) idea of me, the media and fans gave me a lot of heat, producers giving out warnings, haters loving the moment.... from that moment on it was as if ‘controversy’ followed me and wherever i went, there was always bad press on me.”
As time went by Diana revealed that she had she lost her jobs, and contracts were cancelled due to her “behaviour”, but she persevered and continued working hard in order to achieve her dreams of becoming an actress.
“That’s just what you need to do in the public eye,” she wrote.
“I see that you hit a tiny incy wincy yellow polka dot bump, but that youre also truly a beauty with talent.
“P.s, the peeps (people) who love and support you will always appreciate what u have to offer... the rest is just Yin & Yang.”
Followers of Diana appreciated her honest post, and hoped that Haneesya would stay strong and move forward.
