KUALA LUMPUR: TV host Sarimah Ibrahim who is set to deliver her firstborn in July has revealed that she will be expecting a daughter.
The 40-year-old actress and singer is thrilled since she grew up with three male siblings.
“Being the eldest of four, it sure is a nice nice change for me to have someone whom I can do all the girly things together,” said the celebrity who is of Malay-Irish parentage.
She announced the baby’s gender at an event in Petaling Jaya last night.
Asked on the birthing choice, Sarimah said: “Almost all expecting mothers would want to give birth naturally, but it will all depend on my condition. As of now, the position of the baby in the womb is that it is lying horizontally and if that doesn’t change by the time of delivery, I’d have to opt for a Caesarean section.”
At the event, Sarimah also launched her beauty products range called Thrill by Sarimah Ibrahim – Thrill Superstar Treatment Cushion Foundation and Thrill Perfecting Finish Compact Powder – which are now available online exclusively on Shopee.
Sarimah married Tunku Nadzimuddin Tunku Mudzaffar, the grandson of the 10th Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negri Sembilan in April 2015. After four years of marriage, in February this year, she announced that she was pregnant with their first child.
