#Showbiz: After 7-year romance, it's splitsville for Honey Lee, Yoon Kye Sang

KUALA LUMPUR: Recent rumours of a breakup between South Korean stars Honey Lee and Yoon Kye Sang have been confirmed by their agency, Saram Entertainment.

According to Soompi, a source from the company said: "Yoon Kye Sang and Honey Lee have recently ended their romantic relationship and have decided to remain as good colleagues. We ask for your continued interest and support for the two actors."

Saram Entertainment also announced yesterday that Yoon would be leaving the agency.

Apparently, the actor had signed on with the company in 2013 with Lee doing the same the following year after being introduced to the agency by Yoon.

The source from the company said: "After plenty of discussions with Yoon Kye Sang, we have bilaterally agreed to terminate our contract. Yoon Kye Sang plans to take a break for the meantime. We relay a heartfelt message of gratitude to Yoon Kye Sang, who has been with us for a long time."

Korean media outlet News1 initially reported that the two stars had recently parted ways after dating for seven years.

It was revealed that the couple's friends and acquaintances were already aware of the breakup.

Although Lee, 37, and Yoon, 41, first went public with their relationship in 2013, the two were frequently the subject of breakup rumours.

The former couple would often deny that the rumours were true. The most recent occurrence happened last October, when Lee clarified that they were still together.
