KUALA LUMPUR: The wife of famous actor and comedian Harith Iskander, Dr Jezamine Lim, has confirmed that she filed for divorce at the Federal Territories Syariah Lower Court, here.
When contacted by Berita Harian, Dr Jezamine did not deny it and confirmed filing for divorce against Harith, last month.
"That's right, I already filed for divorce. I don't remember the exact date the application was made, but it was about a month ago," she said in a Berita Harian report today.
When asked to comment on the reason for filing for divorce, Dr Jezamine said she was not ready to talk about this personal matter at the moment.
"I have no comment. Maybe I will talk about it later," she said.
According to sources, Dr Jezamine and Harith's divorce case will be mentioned in court this month.
Meanwhile, Harith, 58, chose to remain mum on the matter when contacted.
"I have no comment on this matter," he said.
Harith and Dr Jezamine, 41, tied the knot on June 12, 2010.
The couple are blessed with three children, Zander Xayne, 14, Alessandra Jayne, 11, and Zydane Zayne, 9.
