KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Fasha Sandha witnessed an increase in the number of Instagram followers total some five million on the day she gave birth to her baby girl last Friday.
In an IG posting today, the 36-year-old artiste introduced her newborn as Aisha Amaira Mohd Aidil.
In the caption to a photo of Fasha holding 4-day-old Aisha, being flanked by Aidil (on her left) and an individual they fondly call Nenek Kamisah, who played matchmaker to the celebrity couple, the actress wrote: "The number of followers on my IG has increased to 5 million on the day Aisha was born. Thank you to all followers who always kept me in their prayers all this while."
She also mentioned having experienced two miscarriages before Aisha came along.
Fasha advised those who had similar misfortune to never give up, but to keep on trying.
Fasha and Aidil tied the knot on March 30 last year. This is her second marriage.
Her first marriage was to businessman Rizal Ashram Ramli a.k.a. Jejai in 2012. Blessed with a son, Putra Rayfal Ramli, 7, and daughter, Putri Raysha Jemyma, 6, the union came to an end in 2016.
