#Showbiz: Actress Bella Dally denies 'inter-state cycling'

KUALA LUMPUR: Desolasi actress Bella Dally has admitted that she and her friend had cycled near Sungai Tua Forest Reserve at the Selangor-Pahang border in Gombak last Sunday.

However, the 29-year-old Sabahan whose real name is Nabilah Ali Dally denied that she had crossed into Pahang.

"No, we did not violate the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) prohibition on inter-state travel as we were well inside Selangor at that time," said Bella in a news report today.

Bella, who was detained by police yesterday for allegedly crossing into Genting Sempah, Bentong, Pahang with her friend Diyana via Jalan Gombak added that she had given her statement to the police and was cooperating in their investigations.

Bella said that the Instagram photo of her cycling which contained the caption "Woohoo Genting Sempah" had made Netizens think that she had entered Pahang in violation of the CMCO.

"We were still in Selangor, and I apologise for that confusing caption. There would have been a signboard to tell me if I was in Pahang, but there was none."

It is believed that the police learnt about her alleged violation of the CMCO after she uploaded her photo.

Gombak district police chief Assistant Commissioner Arifai Tarawe confirmed that they had detained the actress and her friend.

Bella, a finalist of the first season of Datuk Rosyam Nor's acting talent search Pilih Kasih in 2009, is best known for appearing in the films Seru, Gila-Gila Remaja 2 and Desolasi, and the television dramas Vanila Coklat, Kusinero Cinta and Adellea Sofea.
