KUALA LUMPUR: Popular TV host and actress Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor is the cover artiste on Chinese language female magazine Citta Bella for its November edition.
The magazine posted a picture of the cover featuring the successful 31-year-old entrepreneur clad in a black niqab on its official Instagram account yesterday.
The accompanying caption read: "We're extremely proud to have Neelofa grace Citta Bella's November 2020 issue for the third time, with such sophisticated yet elegant beauty."
"These beautiful images were taken before Neelofa publicly announced her decision to don the niqab. Neelofa already had the concept in mind to have parts of her face covered back in September in which her stylist, Colin executed during the photoshoot in early October."
It added: "Little did he know, Neelofa donned the niqab publicly a week after the photoshoot. We wish her all the best for the new spiritual journey that she is embarking on."
The caption ended with, "Lastly, Citta Bella embraces the beauty of cultural diversity. We try our very best to unleash the beauty of women and their inner power, regardless of their age, body shape, ethnicity and beliefs. We wish for a better future, for all."
The entry has so far garnered close to 900 likes with many commenting positively on the cover concept and Neelofa's new appearance.
