KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Elyana Emrizal who has been battling stage 4 lymphoma cancer for the past 11 years, is relieved she is now cancer-free.
The 34-year-old artiste shared the good news about her cancer battle on Instagram today.
"Today I want to share with you how happy and grateful I'm feeling. My 11-year fight against cancer has been rewarded. I'm now cancer-free!"
"Praise be to God, I'm happy beyond words. It's been so long since I had any good news and a healthy body," she wrote in the post.
"There were times when I almost gave up hope and were envious of healthy people. But thankfully my faith in God kept me holding on to the hope that one day there'll be some miracles," said the artiste who is currently going through her fifth round of chemotherapy.
Elyana began her first round of chemotherapy in September.
Although diagnosed much earlier, Elyana only publicly revealed that she was suffering from stage 4 lymphoma cancer in 2017, after she was booted out on the fifth week of reality programme Gegar Vaganza S4.
