#Showbiz: Baby Shima sells off own clothes to raise funds for flood victims

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Baby Shima is doing her bit to help out flood victims by selling her outfits on TikTok to raise funds.

According to news reports, the 29-year-old artiste whose realname is Nor Ashima Ramli was carrying out the effort online since she was currently in her home state of Johor.

"I'm collecting funds by selling pre-loved clothes on TikTok. The money from this will be donated to flood victims, especially to her fans in Shah Alam and Klang who are members of her Baby Shima Supporters club.

"I can't visit the affected sites yet as I'm currently in my kampung, so I've been using TikTok live for the past two days to sell my beloved collection of clothes," she said.

The singer added that she had already sold off many of her show dresses as well as a few sweaters that she had not even worn which had resulted in thousands of ringgit being collected.

"My team will see what we can do to help and we figured that the cash distribution would be suitable for them to purchase goods according to their individual preferences.

"I'm constantly praying for all who are affected to be safe and courageous in facing this challenging situation," she said.
