KUALA LUMPUR: After four hours tickets went on sale, about 60 per cent of tickets have been snapped up by fans of popular Indonesian singer Raisa.
Raisa will be in town to perform at Konsert Raisa: Live In Malaysia at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Nov 20.
Based on the brisk sale, concert organiser Hitman Solutions believed that the decision to bring in the talented artiste from the republic was timely and that Malaysians were ready to be entertained by foreign performers again.
"We're very proud, thrilled and grateful to present this concert as this will mark Raisa's first performance here," said Hitman Solutions chief executive officer Rohit Rampal in a news report yesterday.
Raisa's popularity rose after her single Serba Salah, from her debut album released in 2011, became a hit. Among the awards she received were Best New Artiste award at the 15th Indonesia Music Awards (AMI) and Best New Female Artiste at Anugerah Planet Muzik in 2016.
Remaining tickets, priced between RM200 and RM250, are still available at www.hitmanlive.com
