KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Fattah Amin is relieved and proud that he has finally completed his studies, and ended up on the Dean's List.
The 32-year-old actor admitted that it hadnt been easy to complete the course that he enrolled in with Universiti Utara Malaysia, when it offered a special Bachelor's degree programme for creative industry players which commenced in 2015.
"It had been quite a struggle juggling my studies and career," recounted Fattah to reporters after he received the certificate of achievement for academic excellence at an event held by the university's School of Creative Industry Management & Performing Arts this afternoon at Royale Chulan Damansara in Petaling Jaya.
"I didn't expect to score this well, but thankfully for the final semester, I had managed to accumulate a GPA of four, said Fattah," beaming with pride.
A total of 28 students out of 40 from the first batch of Creative Industry Management Studies from the school were awarded with the Dean's List certificate, including Fattah and fellow artistes such as Pekin Ibrahim, Tomok, April Pilus and Amir Masdi.
Fattah, who is slated to begin filming an Indonesian film soon, said he couldn't wait for graduation day which would be held next March.
