KUALA LUMPUR: Four months from now, K-Pop queens BlackPink are coming to town for their Born Pink World Tour 2023.
The tickets for their show went on pre-sale yesterday for BlackPink fan club members and will be open to the public tomorrow.
Sadly, some fans have deemed the tickets too expensive and some unscrupulous individuals or "scalpers" have been reselling the tickets at even higher prices, up to RM8,776.
The most expensive seats at the concert are the Born Pink VIP Soundcheck passes, worth RM1,888 which were sold out in a few hours.
On ticketing site Viagogo, VIP zone tickets are currently being sold between RM5,274 and RM8,776.
Scalpers have even tried to resell general tickets priced as low as RM388 for up to RM780.
And tickets priced between RM388 and RM788 are being sold for RM2,555 to RM2,974.
BlackPink will be performing at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on March 4 next year with tickets priced between RM388 and RM1,888.
According to concert organiser Live Nation Malaysia, the RM1,888 ticket entitles holders to have early access to the venue as well as a commemorative laminate.
Blackpink last performed in Malaysia in 2019 and the highest ticket price then was RM693.
