KUALA LUMPUR: Kai of popular K-Pop group is set to release new material as a solo artiste next month.
According to Soompi, SPOTV News reported that the 29-year-old South Korean idol would be releasing a new album soon.
This was followed by a positive response from a source working at Exo's agency, SM Entertainment.
The person confirmed that, "Kai is planning on releasing a new solo album in mid-March."
Kai's upcoming release would represent his first solo album in approximately one year and four months since the release of his second mini album, Peaches, back in November 2021.
The singer, dancer and actor, whose real name is Kim Jong In, recently staged his solo live event, Kai Japan Special Live 2023.
Fans are also excited for Exo which will be organising a fan meeting to celebrate the group's 11th debut anniversary this April.
