#Showbiz: 'These flowers for Diana are a first step of reconciliation' - Farid Kamil

SHAH ALAM: Actor Farid Kamil, 42, arrived at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court in Subang Bestari here at 9am today with a bouquet of roses in his hands.

The flowers, said Farid to Berita Harian Online, were for his estranged wife Diana Danielle, 32, as a gesture of reconciliation.

"These flowers are for Diana as a first step of reconciliation," said a smiling Farid who arrived in a white Vellfire.

Singer-actress Diana who is currently starring in the hit film Imaginur arrived earlier at 8.55am in a black attire and accompanied by a personal bodyguard.

"Salam Ramadan," she said to the 30-odd media representatives who had gathered outside the court as early as 7am.

Farid and Diana appeared in court to appoint a reconciliation committee to resolve their troubled marriage.

Diana filed for divorce at the court on March 10 citing irreconcilable differences and "shiqaq" (longstanding conflict).

Farid however refused to divorce his wife.

Syarie judge Shukran Yusof subsequently ordered the couple to undergo reconciliation.

Farid and Diana tied the knot on Nov 3, 2012 and have two children Muhammad, 10, and Nur Aurora, 8.
