KUALA LUMPUR: Former wife to actor Hafidz Roshdi, Nurul Shuhada Mat Shukri says life couldn't have been better for her now, despite living away from home.
In a news report today, the 30-year-old mother of two is currently residing in Melbourne, Australia with her children as she furthers her studies there.
"In the past, especially during my turbulent marriage period and the following divorce, I wondered what had gone wrong, why did I have to go through it.
"But fortunately, I kept my faith in God, and now I have been given a better life.
"God has given this opportunity to be here (in Australia) together with my two children.
"It's not that I'm gloating, but my point is that God wouldn't test you with something beyond your capability," she said in a recent live session on TikTok.
Nurul Shuhada also said a better life for her does not mean that she had found a new man, but an existence which is better than her previous one.
She added that while she had no plans to return to Malaysia soon, she would stay there for good if the opportunity arose.
Nurul Shuhada and Hafidz tied the knot on April 30, 2016, but divorced on July 27 last year.
They have two children, namely Humairah, 6, and Umar, 2.
